My Minn Kota quit on practice day on Champlain. Minn Kota tech help couldn’t help get me back up and running. Tournament was the next day. So they referred me to fish307 which is about an hour drive from Ticonderoga launch. I called them and the service guy said he would “take a look” at it if I brought it in. So I brought it in. Long story short, George Granger immediately started to work on it without a single minute of wait time. He found not one, but two fatal issues and worked on them outside in the sun on a hot day. He was remarkable, kept at it until it was working perfectly with time to get back to Ticonderoga and get part of the day on the water. He said their goal is always “To get you back on the water as quick as possible.” Well he did. Great job, George! Can’t thank you enough. You saved our weekend!!

Did you recently remove the spool? If so you may not have gotten the set screw back into the hole in the shaft.
