Beach part of the park doesn't open until 9:30 AM, on a Tuesday anyways. They have sand for the beach and the swimming area. Swimming area is very small, more for wading. This upper part park just across the alley from the beach has a picnic table pavilions, grills, and a restroom.

It’s a cute small beach with a life guard on duty. Ideal for families with small children. Beach is open from 9:30a until 6p. Park area from 8a to 8p. There’s a playground, bbq grills, picnic tables and two pavilions. Great way to enjoy the summer days.

There is a beach just down the hill but I don't think you can drop a kayak in. It's roped off for swimming.
