USS SLATER is not wheelchair accessible. The Observation Deck on shore is accessible. Admission is $9 for adults, $8 for senior citizens, and $7 for children ages 6-14. Destroyer Escort Sailors are admitted at no charge. The Museum participates in the Blue Star Museums program, so active duty military are admitted at no charge Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Unfortunately, most all of the ship is accessed be stairs and through doorways that would not accomadate a wheelchair. Admission is $9

Entry is free to veterans and active duty military. There is a wheelchair accessible ramp to the main store, but the majority of the tour is not wheelchair accessible or handicapable friendly.
