They do have some sites for first come first serve. We have stopped by and got a campsite without a reservation you can go to the headspring and walk around they have lots of parking and it very beautiful there
The campground is a little ways away from the actual head spring. You have to go onto ReserveAmerica website to reserve spots. Winter months are very busy!
