Hi you can launch your kayak in KP Hole. Its 5 bucks per kayak then just pay for shuttle for one person to go back to the parks parking lot . The end of the trip is under the bridge downtown and the shuttle pick up people from there. Be sure to ride the one back to KP Hole. Do not go to the Rainbow state park because its a bit far to walk from parking lot to the kayak launch. Its a work out. KP Hole has boat ramp accessible by truck. We did kayak upstream towards the head of the spring about a mile upstream. Worth the time and effort. Then we kayak downstream towards the bridge. Im not sure the bridge name but thats the end of the trip. You wont miss it.
You wont b going up stream. It has a strong current. U just relax and enjoy the ride
Mam KP hole is a great launch site. You can also launch across the street from Swampy's resturant in dunnellon. A bit crowded at times but no fee. Then you can drive yourself down to the pick up point.
