The water us 72 degrees through out the year. Should be fine any day to swim except when it's raining.
It's a lil chilly but yes you can swing in certain parts of the springs.
NO NO NO local folk say 72 degrees very kindly guestimated I went in summer and it took me a while to get used to the water ITS BEATIFUL AND HEAVENLY AND LOCALS ARE USED TO IT Go for it MY BEST EXPERIENCE IN THE WORLD 400LBS TUBING DOWN THE RIVER I ALMOST PAST THE EXIT WOULD END UP IN GEORGIA STOP BY SEBRING DINNER IF YOU GOING NORTH ON US 1 Its probably 72 but. YES! You can swim there all year! The water temp is always 72 degrees, 24/7 365 days a year. I went there last week even during the construction of the new changing rooms, still as beautiful as ever! I've also been there in Dec, Jan, May, June, July, Aug, any time, always wonderful!
72 degrees sounds doable but if you swim into a spring it can catch you by surprise. Take the plunge. You'll be glad you did.

Water temperature same year round. ..however they building new changing rooms..might have to go to KP hole just down the road
