Some things keep changing with the float down area. Last I was there you had to rent a tube. Kayaks and paddleboards could be brought or rented. Only in the swimming head springs area, you can have pool noodles. We Entered the spring from kp hole and exited across from swampy's. (we had two cars)
Yes you may bring your own raft to my knowledge. I saw many in kayaks and floaties.
It might be best to call the park and ask them directly.
When we went a few weeks ago, floating was not permitted, only life preservers and pool noodles were allowed. Snorkeling there is so peaceful there, highly recommend :)
If you're at the headspring... I think you're ok to float inside the buoys. But if you want to float the river, then you are permitted to bring your own raft to any of the designated launch locations.
