If the PetSmart location has a Pets Hotel then they will keep the pet overnight. The only other instance theyve kept pets overnight is if someone has not returned to pick their pet up from the grooming salon in which they are charged an additional overnight fee. However, the pet is left unattended with food and water in a kennel in the salon. PetSmart does not encourage this by any means but it has happened.
PetSmart don't keep dogs cats any type of animals overnight except the ones that's already in the store for sale.
