You can actually walk right to stump pass from the state park. About 3/4 mi. Walk. Swimming in the pass is not recommended the current is awesome and it's always going in or out.
It's intercostal water so no but it's not real dark and some days are clearer than others.

No not really, the water fluctuates and is shallow .
Its on the intercoastal. So its a murky water. Stump pass is close to there its amazing. But you can only get there by boat.
