The rug construction will depict the recommended cleaning process. If your rug is of the woven variety we recommend having it cleaned in in our Fine Oriental Rug Cleaning Plant (Please search "Stanley Steemer Oriental and Fine Area Rug Cleaning" on YouTube for more information). If your area rug is not woven, it is usually "tufted", meaning that there is Latex glue holding the backing and Fibers together. Depending on the rugs condition this Latex glue can breakdown during the much more thorough cleaning process shown in the video. These rugs can be cleaned in your home more safely but unfortunately not as thoroughly. Regards, CJ White
Deborah, Google Stanley Steamer and bring up their website. On the web site give the square footage of your rugs since they quote the job by square footage. I believe your rugs sq ft will fall under their basic charge for one room $99 USD.
