Aside from exempt employment, yes. Many don’t. The DOL is SLOW SLOW SLOW, and I think, borderline useless. Get a lawyer if you want your money. May be entitled to more also.

I work 8 hours a day in a restaurant. They do not give you any kind of break. Are they allowed to do this?
Work 60 to 70 hrs per week for greenhouse doing wholesale and retail. Are they requried to pay overtime for all the retail hours? They also dont collect sales tax on retail sales that are over 200k per year. Is this legal in NC?
