Well sorry to hear that the shelter has many uses but if you feel its best to put him to rest then and there are animal shelters like paws and anticruelty they will assist you in that process once again good and i wish you the best.

Take him to a kill shelter they will put them to sleep if need be ... The anti-cruelty focus is to keep them alive
