My dog is 7 years old and has bone cancer and his hind leg. We give him 12 pain pills a day. It is so hard to put him down. He still loves to eat he still loves to drink water he still loves to wag its tail when you come to him . Please help me

I understand what you're going through. Everyone says you'll know when it's time but i didn't. I guess when you know he is in pass in that's not removed by the medicine and he can't do the things he liked to do, it'll feel more right. Just try to make the best decision for him not for you... Peace

I know your feeling and i wouldn't Put Him Or Her Down If your dog is active. I put a dog down about two years ago and it was the worse feeling ever but she was in pain and i could see it. But she was much older.

Thats way too many pain pills,sorry for the baby.
