My neighbors tossed their cat away like it was garbage. My husband and I found it outside and have been trying for a week now to rehome it to no avail. Can we drop off the cat?

Do NOT bring a cat here. I found a stray cat almost right outside anti-cruelty last year. I’m very allergic to cats, so I caught her, carried her into anti-cruelty society, & said a tearful good bye. I made them put a note in her file that if she couldn’t get adopted or if she was slated to be put down, that I would come back for her. They told me not to worry, said they’d take care of her, and that she’d see a vet ASAP because she had a bloody nose. I called every day for 7 days- she still hadn’t seen a vet & there were no updates in her status. On day 7, someone said “oh, there’s a note. She’s scheduled to be put down because she’s scared & not eating much.” They never called me. I rushed over there & convinced them to give her to me. They made me buy her back - even though they were going to kill her- hadn’t treated her injuries, nothing. These people are MONSTERS & will kill that cat- never bring an animal here. BTW, El is thriving in the home I found her. Worst shelter ever.

I'll give her, (or him) a GOOD home. Just come to my apartment in Schaumburg.anny Cat lover Wlecke 617 Limerick Lane, Apt. 1A Schaumburg, Il. 60193I will give the cat-in-need a loving home. My moms legacy was to help Felines, they will return the favor!Danny.'This kind of behavior doesnt anger me at those who abuse their pets. It does, however; bring sadness and tears. I am so sorry for this cat. I want to share my home with a cat in need of one. All the scrutiny and regulations arent within me to comply with. I have PTSD from a war and I cannot cope rationally with stress, Aww, I wish this lady a wonderful life and pray she wins a lottery!
