Based on my experience takes about 2 hours? You have to wait for them to call you and on the night I was there it was very busy so we weren't seen until about 20 after my appointment time. You meet with the dog for as long as you like and assuming you want the pet, you let the person know, then you go into another room to go over details of adoption, pay fee and go home. There was only 2 people to check you out, so if it's busy expect to wait about 15+ min. Checkout process took about 20 min. They will try to sell you some very expensive pet food. It's cheaper if you wait to buy it from Pet Supplies Plus after you leave. They carry Fromm Brand dog food only. And I can't find it anywhere but Pet Supplies Plus. You also need to bring your own leash/collar or you will have to buy one there. Also, don't forget to ask them how much food they have been feeding the pet. That was one thing we forgot to ask before leaving. It can be less than 2 hours, assuming your appointment is on time.
