We visited this place to experience the Chicago style deep dish pizza - the one with loads of cheese - oh boy, what a disappointment. Not far from the airport, my wife and I were both hungry and with such high rating the restaurant won our vote. We entered and received a very cold welcome in a dark and dingy place by a girl who pointed us to a corner table to have a seat. Later on we decided to go outside to escape the unpleasant smell of the place. The girl who came to take our order did make it clear to us it’ll be 30-40 min to get our pizza. At the time, I kid you not, there were 3-4 families inside the restaurant. Anyways, I thought to myself it’ll probably takes that long to make a deep dish pizza. So we decided to wait it out. Then a guy brought us the pizza and the pizza had the wrong toppings, so they had to redo the pizza. Again, we had to wait for another 15ish mins for our pizza. What we got was a thick crusted pizza with mostly bread and heavy marinara sauce and the mushrooms and onions like we ordered, but nothing like a deep dish pizza I had heard about. This pizza had little to no cheese, which is the opposite of a deep dish pizza. Anyways, we were both very disappointed, especially my wife because she had made the suggestion to go here. I felt bad that she felt bad. If you decide to go I hope you have a better experience than we had. God bless. By the way, these pictures are of our left overs which I ate in my hotel room.

It had been a long while since we had eaten here & actually sat down inside. It was as delicious as we remembered. Love the thin crust & all that cheese! The sausage chunks are more like meatballs!

unwhelming and flimsy and despite the lists they are on they do NOT HAVE DEEP DISH and i wouldn’t go back. Service was good but other than that

We were in town for training and decided to try here after class one night. It was incredible!! I couldn't finish my 10" pan pizza but I sure wanted to. If I could have taken it home on the plane, I would have. I will be back next time I'm in Chicago!!!

You can order the pizza "half baked" and then cook the pizza at home so it's nice and hot. Did that a couple of weeks ago and it worked great.
Hello, Robert. We definitely recommend calling ahead on weeknights to make sure there is adequate seating during these times. Thank you!
I can see one in the photos... Are you guys talking about the Chicago location?
Most delivery areas are within something like 3.5 miles. Probably not.
Sort of. You can call and get on the 'priority list'. This doesn't guarantee a table when you arrive, but starts you off higher on the wait list and generally saves you about half the time. You can also order your pizza when you arrive to reduce the time until you get your pizza!
The pequods folks can advise what size pie & how many it will feed. There are usually 5 of us & we get 2 large so everyone has leftovers.
My family loves this pizza and the Carmelized crust. Call the for hours
Vegan, options for a pizza? I think the sauce is strictly tomato based, i seriously doubt there is any meat, then just get a cheese version. My daughter does it all the time.
