I know what worked for a friend of mine who had similar issue. They took favorite toy and balls playing on their walkway and grass then each time inching more to the sidewalk even throwing ball toward house. he got good with ball and they would roll hard enough it rolled out into the court they live in. Took a bit the inching with ball and toy really helped. Then they could leash him and go for walks. I know when they tried forcing him in the begining made it worse. Petco and Petsmart both have classes ask if they have specials Coming they good telling you. Also get both of their new puppy books. Lots of coupons tips and usually classes in there. Good ~Luck
They do offer puppy training there. I dont know how they are. There is another place called the right steps on Madison and Kenneth i always see them very busy too. I hope that helps
Socialization is key to a happy puppy and Petco offers classes for puppys!!! The best way to set up a session is to call.
I would suggest carrying him the first couple of times you go past the drive way and possibly just have him watch you walk past and call for him to come, as to show thay everything is okay. I have only raised only a handful of puppies before but these tactics seem to have helped me. good luck! 😊👍🌹
