We just walked in but it was more towards the end of lunch so we were seated immediately. If going in prime lunch hour I would think it would be helpful. Enjoy a fantastic experience!

No, not at all. If you are there during the busy season it is recommended however. The line does get pretty long. However, if you are nearby and dont see a line, just walk right in and have a stellar lunch.
