Cafe Beignet is our favorite spot for this quintessential NOLA pastry; the coffee is hot and strong the beignets are fresh and warm, and the mimosas make everything special. We enjoy savoring our treat in the small, lovely, and private patio and, imagine this charming scene is all for us.

Beignet here was just so so...not the best I've had in Nola. Fried pretty hard and the dough had a sour taste to it. But I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the shop. It's really cool looking inside & out.

They have a small indoor setting, with a couple tables located outside. You must write a name/phone # down for your party for contract tracing, other than that it is a pretty relaxed environment, most people were not masked as they were eating/drinking.
No they don't. But you can request them without powered sugar, but keep in mind that they may add sugar to the batter. I ordered mine last week without the sugar and they were very good. Good luck.

I think I've seen people with dogs there. Just know there is powdered sugar on the floor from the beignets.

I did not experience heavy and hard. Th er y make them fresh at Cafe Beignet In front of you're eyes. We were close to closing of the cafe. O so yummy
I don't think it would be a beignet if it were gluten free.
The prices are very fair. An order of beignets are under $3-4 for 3 large beignets. The food menue is very reasonable, as well as the desserts.
We do prefer this place more than the other beignet cafes. Quiet outside eating area..quaint inside and coffee and food is delish
