What do I need to show taxes were paid with car payment since I do not have a personal property tax receipt?

I pay Carmax payments but they did not provide a receipt for taxes paid on the car. Do I call them and get a copy?

Where ever u make ur payment they should give u a receipt or how ever u make ur car payment monthly
