I had a coworker tell me that you can take the actual written test online and then come to the DMV for the driving portion in Missouri is it possible that can happen? Or this state doesn’t do that just “practice” test

The Highway Patrol doesn't offer an on line test, practice or otherwise. All written testing is done at MSHP testing offices.

Just the practice test. You have to go into the office and take the test via computer.
