Rumor has it, that there are going to be changes next year in camping. Is the state going to do away with walk up camping spots?

Nothing said while we were there but I've seen other parks do it with no warning

Not that I know of. When I was there we talked to a ranger who told us that he wanted to enhance the camping experience by clearing some trees and brush at campsites so you can actually see the lake from the campgrounds, but he said nothing about doing away with anything. He made it seem more like they just wanted to update the area and make it more accessible.
