Yes, I would recommend the parking in the kind of park on the left facing the wharf. $2 per hour. You can park at the wharf itself by I think it's nicer to walk on there.
I highly recommend parking at the Hotel California parking garage. Its monitored by cameras and the hotel staff are always present walking about. Its open to the public and $2 per hour and 1 block to the Warf.
We payed 20 bucks for the day. It was great.
