Loved the atmosphere in the inner courtyard on a summer evening. Energetic but not frantic. Excellent service. Filet mignon was disappointing for $50. Too tough. Prices pretty high, $360 for 4 people with only 2 glasses of wine.

Just finished an amazing meal at Intermezzo by Wine Cask. We live in Healdsburg (foodie heaven), but when we leave there to head South, this is our favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara, which is saying a lot, given all the good restaurants in this town. It has a great environment, delicious food, and superb staff. We had a lovely conversation with the owner, John, and our waiter, Paul, was especially wonderful!

I wish I could give them a zero star. They are overpriced, overrated and underdeliver with both food and service. Not a place for the locals. It's a tourist trap.
