If it's your first time getting a state ID you need your birth certificate, social security card, or passport or any government ID and you also need to bring some kind of mail utility bill, a bank statement or something from school with your name and address on it. If you do not make an appointment with the DMV my suggestion would be make sure you're there around 6:30 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. you the first 20 that gets in and it will be a quick process. I just did this process and I was in and out within an hour. Or this is not your first time getting an ID and you already have an ID with a star on it you don't need to bring anything unless you change your address just bring in a piece of mail that has your name on it with the new address.
Well first I suggest to Google how to get a florida ID card. You have to go to the DMV with all your appropriate papers...I would only get an ID if you do not plan on driving...if you plan on driving take the test or transfer your current out of state license to florida...just make sure you bring all the required papers you will not want to stand in that long line twice!
