Most renters just need to bring a valid Driver’s License and major credit card. If you’re paying with a debit card, two forms of government-issued ID must be presented along with two recent utility bills (if an in-state renter), or a round trip itinerary (if an out-of state renter). All drivers with a non-US driver's license must produce a valid passport at the time of rental. Driver's license printed with non Roman Alphabet (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic etc) must be complemented by an international driver's license. For driver's licenses from countries not part of the international driver's license treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.
