How strict is the chair policy for the lawn, my chairs are over 9 inches from the ground.

Rigid and unflinchingly strict.

There was a yard sale outside the gates. Literally hundreds of chairs they made them leave behind.

They will tell you to take it back to your car, they are very strict

Very strict. They will hold them at the front until you leave and you won’t be able to use anything over 9” high
