$10 parking at the Ferry parking lot in Algiers, take the pedestrian ferry across to the Aquarium. Very little walking, convenient and nice view on the boat.
Thanks!
The easier parking lot is pay for
There are a few lots in the area..... I believe the Aquarium validates parking for the Canal place lot.
They have paid and free parking around the area
The best place to park is the Canal Place shopping center. It's also between the Aquarium and the Insectarium which is convenient if you plan on doing both.
Canal place will validate your parking still cost about 12 dollars if you. Park for about. 3to4 hoors
Three different parking lots are very close to the aquariums entrance, in fact they're just a few steps away from the streetcar line, which you have to step over to get to the Aquarium entrance. Many of the Lots will also offer you a discount with proof of your visit to the aquarium. you tend to spend anywhere from 2 to 3 hours inside the aquarium itself so select your Lots according to prices by the hours if you do not intend to visit the rest of the French Quarter. If you are interested in visiting the French quarter after the aquarium or grab a quick snack of piping hot beignets simply hop on the streetcar line I believe that the fee is $1.25 a person unless you purchased the full day pass which allows you to ride the street car all day and night as much as you would like.
