it doesnt smell!..its actually really cold in there..no not a haunted house..it stays true to the word "museum" its really clean n really closed in..so theres stuff on every wall..n yes there is a room of cat n dog skellingtons..but just dont go in there, its after the shrunken heads...
When you walk in you pay and there is a small gift shop then theres a curtain to your right and the first room is info on serial killers like Richard Ramirez etc. Then you go into a room with things like torture methods, then into a room about funerals, there is coffins, a tv showing someome dressing the body after death, there is also different religions ways of burial and tombs. Next is a room with lots of graphic murder pictures and car crash graphic scenes and some skulls i think? There is also a room with a lot about the Charles Manson family and other murders really. Then theres just some other mass murders and suicides. The last room is like a room with chairs and a tv showing murders i believe. There is a lot of graphic images and there's papers hanging up by them explaning the pics. There is also a room with dead animals near the end i think. It does not smell bad. It is not like a haunted house like no jump scares but there is a lot of very graphic images and videos.
It does not smell! Upon entry you walk into lobby with merch. It is a museum after all. Maybe you are not suited to enter. Your concerns lead me to believe you may not be able to stomach the exibits. But, good luck and enjoy.
Also there is a real head in there.
It's not a haunted house. But it doesn't have a morgue smell. And you'll get to see the mind of serial killers for sure. Maybe at the very first step.
Thank you all for your feedback
It lowkey smells like death but it's very faint and you probably can't smell it, even if you have a sensitive sense of smell :)) There are lots of information about serial killers and it's very interesting so don't worry, you won't be disappointed!!!
Its not like a haunted house, its more of a museum of very grim things. You first start out in the gift shop where you pay to go in, there's no phone use allowed in there. There is a room dedicated to taxidermy animals but Mansfield's dogs are not in there. But you can avoid certain rooms if you're uncomfortable with their subject matter
It does not smell and it starts with exactly what you are looking for. And, yes you can avoid anything by just walking through or not into different rooms.
That’s why I went for the Serial killers but as for the smell no it wasn’t a smell of dead bodies but I did notice in some rooms it had a bit of a smell that made me feel queasy
