Adventist Health Feather River (AHFR) accepts and bills most insurance companies as a courtesy to patients. Your insurer is under contract with you and your employer. Each insurance policy varies. It is your responsibility to understand the terms and conditions of your insurance coverage. All patients are encouraged to call their insurance companies to obtain accurate information about individual benefits and any pre-certification or authorizations needed for services. Your insurer may require written or telephonic pre-certification or pre-authorization from you or your physician.
