Said they permanently would shut my water off and now my land is being auctioned off by next june if I don't pay the bill of nearly $900 pid racked up. Im sending a demand letter then suing in court to have it removed, il be adding punitive damages if i actually need to show up to the court.

We discovered a large leak on our property. P I D said they will not fix it unless we sign up for water service. Which seems silly, since the house has burned. You would think wasted water should be fixed regardless ?

I payed for the water to be put back on at my house and they have not sone so they seem to not be able to give me any answers to my questions and keep sending me a bill what are we supposed to do keep paying year after year with no end in sight..??

Yes, or they add it to your next county taxes. Choices are pay monthly service, and get water restored for around $1500, or discontinue service, and someone later pays around $5,000 for new service. The choices are sad, and poor, but PID is like any other utility, they want your money!

Has water tested clean anywhere in Paradise? I bought a house on Baston Ln.

There has been clean samples at a number of homes. The big question is will they stay clean? That is the million dollar question. Filtration systems and tanks seem to be the best choice right now. I am going to use both while cutting PID completely free of our house. The plan is to set up a manifold on their line and use it for irrigation only until they have fixed everything. The only way I feel safe to get back into our home.

In addition a portable purge and trap system using a sparring unit, inert gas (nitrogen for example) and an activated carbon cartridge could treat the water at the site of contamination and save the water to be returned to water treatment plant.

I believe what you are saying is the fact, but PID has to follow the guidelines set by the State and Federal Government, or they risk losing the funding.

Do I need to sign up for water tank for my house if so were and how.
