How can someone be brought up on 16 charges of animal cruelty and still be in charge there??? Can someone explain???

I don't understand either.. I know when i went back to get my kitten..she was already sick..n had her surgery ..she was so sick.. I went to see that so call vet.. I didn't have a good feeling about her.. Went on line..no good.. Took her to Vet.in our town.. East Orange Vet. Dr.Acosta got her well..she is great now..

1,) she stills needs to go on trial, so until then..innocent until proven guilty..sad premise. 2.) there is someone else from, I believe, the Elizabeth shelter that is overseeing the ongoing activity there...so that is a good thing. 3.) If the Newark strays were dispersed equally to other shelters, there wouldn't be overcrowding...thrre are many rescues involved in pulling some of the sweethearts to avoid euthanasia.
