No first come first serve with dogs
They check every dog that comes in for a microchip and try to find the owner by using a rabies vaccination number if they can find one through checking description work local very office in area where the animal was picked up. They do not take many strays, mostly only owner surrender but the ones they do take they hold for 10 days in isolation, and if they have no problem with behavior or show me signs of illness after being tested. They vaccinate, spay/neuter them put up for adoption. You have to have proof that the animal is yours because they will not give it to anyone without that ability. If there is no proof you have to readopt it.
10 days is the max hold on dogs brought in as found. They do not board pets.
