Be sure that you don't mind a mixed breed as you have no idea what it will grow up to be. We learned that the hard way.
My daughter got a mixed breed Shepard from there and he's the best dog ever...
You also may fill out a form requesting a dog you're looking for.
If you're determined to get a pure bred Shepherd fond a reputable breeder. Adoption from the Humane Society is always best though because those animals need loving homes the most. They get all sorts of mixed breeds and those will include Shepherd. Best thing is to check on the website regularly or stop by.
They'll never label a dog as a pure breed. They have plenty of "Lab/Shepherd - Mix" dogs but your absolute best bet is Animal Care. If you find a Shepherd at the Humane Society then you'll pay well over $200 (for a puppy. I figured that out the hard way) where on the other hand.. Animal Care is $35.
You can see all available pets on the website. You can also call for specific animal availability.
