I drove my 2016 Trax yesterday - no problem - just got in and all lights lit up (initially), but nothing happened - won't start - just sits there clicking at me - do I need a new battery?

No im not a mechanic but it sounds like a bad battery, alternator, or fuse box. I assure you they'll fix it if you take it back

I would check my terminals to make sure there not loose, sometimes that's your problem

I'd get it started, then high-tail it to one of the Advance Auto stores, who will check it out. For free. And, will charge the battery... for FREE.

I would start by jumpstarting and charging your battery before considering other more expensive causes like replacing your battery or starter.
