I can only say that each time I have been there I've seen alligators. No guarantee you will see them out of the water.
Yea ya know how guarantees work or not. Lol! But every time I've been there I've seen them. But it was always warm and sunny. They like to sun bathe next to the water. I saw a very large one jump out of the water to steal a fish out of a birds mouth. I think it took all the water out of the marsh with him. But sorry didn't get any pics. Now its just a story
I agree with the above post, no guarantees with Mother nature. If it's sunny and warm odds are fantastic. Overcast and chilly, they are sitting on the bottom of the lake.
No one can guarantee mother nature putting on a show for you but I've seen at least one each visit. A couple of weeks ago my girlfriend and I saw about 5 adults but also found a little bushy area right off the water with about 9 little hatchlings. We snapped a few pics but you do not want to poke around where baby gators are nesting because the momma will not be far off.
