Well for right now you can get them at the nearest Walmart and later on when it becomes you know open all the time I believe you'd be able to buy your license right there but you cannot at this time but that's the way it was before they have sold it to the city or the aisle you know the city of Oak Island and you might be able to get one from Town Hall
You can get your fishing license at Wal-Mart or Academy Sports store.
If you ate just fishing from the pier, you pay $10 per pole for the day and that covers your fishing License for that day as well. When I inquired about this they said it doesn't begin til July 2nd. Kids 12 and under fish for free.
