The Des Moines is a Heavy Cruiser, not a battleship.
It is an old battleship, that you can explore to a certain extent. They do have a bit corded off below the deck. (presume for safety reasons). They do do some tours, during Halloween a haunted house so to speak. All in all it was a interesting and educational time to say the least. They also have over nights for groups of people .
