Listen closely. I just spent 3 weeks there between ATS and CSS. I would of given a one star but there was some good that came from it. Honestly the place is in no shape to pass a board of health criteria. Upper management stays out of sight and calls the shots from the basement. There were multiple balls dropped for me. First being miss dosed twice when I first got there for alcohol withdrawal, almost causing me two seizures. Second being labeled a different gender and name in the computer. Third having mentally unstable clients that need a higher level of care mixed with individuals who are not duel diagnosis. Forth having a case manager who didn't care about my placement for transitional holding. There are a mix of staff who truly care for addicts but the rest are only about their paycheck and it shows tremendously. If your serious about your recovery than nothing will bother you, I felt the need to share my experience so you know what to expect. Get used to a hallway with minimum groups and no place to get peace. God bless anyone still sick and suffering!

Unfortunately they discharged me for something I didn't do, my room mate was using, she had been there 9 days & didn't find it by then. They never ruined me even though I asked them to. All the staff members believe me but they said it came from the higher up who I never met. I thought this was my chance at a new life . I'm gonna be stronger for this , I will not use because of they're mistake 5 negative stars for they way they handled my situation

This place try’s. It’s sad Gavin is such a great foundation but some of the people they hire are in unbelievable and aren’t there to help. Elizabeth a RS with blonde hair is someone to stays away from. She is a known opiate dealer and has been in the paper many times for heroin being removed from her home. She supply’s drugs for people that want to be sober. It’s a shame because there really are staff that want to help and make a difference but people like that, that makes recovery so hard. If management did a sweep and took away the bad workers this place could really be something great.

Nursing staff is fantastic. A full duffel bag of clothing was either given to another patient or stolen. The facility leaves much to be desired, but the staff works hard to make it livable. My only real complaint is the absence of any leadership at any time. I would think if a hockey- sized bag of belongings were noticed stolen on a Saturday, someone from upper management would hey involved immediately instead of, "You have to wait for Monday." I will admit though, had this happened in the past I immediately would have gone to the bottle. Today I had no desire. The case managers and group leaders, combined with the commitments really hit home.
