You do not have to completely disrobe, however, it makes getting a massage more productive. I always leave my briefs on.

Your massage therapist wants you to be as comfortable as possible to help you relax. Most people undress completely or leave their underwear on. State law requires specific draping techniques, so your body will never be completely exposed. Your therapist will only uncover the small portion of the body they are working on and the remainder will be covered with both a sheet and a blanket to protect both your modesty and ours.
