At the second to last room on this wonderful exhibit, there is a big piece of ice to resemble a chuck of the iceberg that was involved in the Titanic tragedy. Some people have place their hands and fingers on it to put an intention. Don't forget to check the person on your card. Look on the wall to see if they made it. It's a great experience to follow in their steps.
Yes, a very large piece taller than you are ,it is like reaching into your freezer ,and interestingly enough the water this far North was actually called " liquid ice " because it doesn't easily freeze because of the saltwater but it is extremely cold however the most interesting thing isn't the ice it's the actual iron corner angle piece about 2 ft long in cased in acrylic with an opening so that you can actually reach in and touch a piece of the actual ship that's been brought up from 12,000 feet!
