If I am going to Universal with a school and I have a family member who got me a pass because he works there. How do I get my pass ahead of time?

The park employee (your friend) can register you to pick up the ticket at the will call kiosk by the park entrance. They just need your info a card to register to the ticket, which is used for verification only. You are not charged. You will also need to show your ID when they scan your ticket at the gate.
