Food [hot dogs, nuts, candy, etc) is allowed. Liquid (water, soda, Gatorade, etc.) Needs to be in Mfr sealed plastic bottles. Thermos & outside alcohol are probably not allowed. Never tried to bring that stuff in.
Thermoses still aren't allowed, if you have one you'll have to check at a designated gate for pick up when you leave or you'll have to throw away before finishing security
Don't know what the restrictions are, but there is definitely a search and pat down.
