You can bring an umbrella by a far more popular solution would be a poncho. Much easier to transport in a pocket or a small bag as well as much more respectful to fans around you if the game continues while the rain is lighter.
In my experience, it is dependant on the pending weather and size of the umbrella. On a sunny day with 5% chance of rain i would leave it. IMO ponchos are far better solutions.
Not sure but instead of using an umbrella get a full body poncho, this is what I do. So much better, you'll stay drier & not have to worry about holding anything..
