My husband’s birthdate is 1944. He license is ready for renewal. Because of Covid can he get an extension. I have tried, with NO luck to do paper work, or get phone help. At his age we are fearful of going in person to the DMV at this time

You should have recieved a renewal notice in the mail. It has a 1 800 number you can call for help. My brother is getting his renewal done next week and he is 78. I know there are some Covid exceptions.

If u cant get through on 1 800 number. Ther will be someone outside DMV u can talk to. That person could help u with that. But, u should have gotten renewal in mail.
