My husband and I want to retire in PS; however, we want affordable housing. I've done a lot of research and there are several posts saying "stay away from North Palm Springs"....too much wind and crime. Can anyone help me with these issues? Thx!

My plan as well. I bought in Palm Springs Villas 2. Its a gated community with security guard on premises overnight. He walks around checking on all the pools and parking lots. I've only owned it for about 6 months and maybe spend 3 or 4 nights a month there right now. I haven't had or heard of a problem as of yet. It's pretty affordable especially for California. I bought for $125,000 1 bedroom. I would probably rent for around 1200,00 a month

Very secure and quiet here. Have lived here for three years and never an incident yet. Sure it can get windy at night but that's hardly a bother. Come enjoy. Great neighbors, super clean grounds and pools
