I haven't even looked at a mass-produced industrial beer in decades, so wouldn't be able to answer this. Being in Bend, with a ratio of one brew-pub for ever 6 residents, you could probably find a bock beer (especially at this time of the year) that will give you an idea of what they actually should taste like. I go here for liquor.
