I would ring the restaurant and ask. When I went everyone was in trousers and a collar.

Bayona is not a super casual place. I agree with another answer. Dress shorts and nice shirt will be great.
Dining at BAYONA is a lovely delight, taking you back to the divine experience of being served in the elegant style of the Golden Age. The welcoming was warm, service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely fabulous! We highly recommend BAYONA for a dining experience you won't soon forget.
I've seen dressy shorts at early dinner but uncommon. I've read lots of negative comments but have yet to dine at Bayona when it was less than spectacular. Give them a call, they've always been polite and helpful to me.
