Keep in mind that this is creole style gumbo. It has tomatoes as part of the base. It’s ok, but not outstanding enough to be named the Gumbo Shop! Over 3 days I had gumbo in 4 spots. This was dead last. However, it wasn’t awful. I like all versions of gumbo. I may not go again, but I will not say don’t you go. They was not bad enough to give a bad review. Try it once. My cousin hated every bit of her gumbo. The look, smell, taste, and portion size.
There are two to choose from - chicken and andouille sausage or seafood with okra. I tried the seafood with okra. I did not like and I not finish it. I'm from Dallas and I must say that the gumbo from Razzoos is better.

Gumbo is best of the 3 places I have tried in French quarter!
It was the best gumbo we had in New Orleans of the 4 places we tried. The jumbalaya was also good.
