Are Erlanger emergency room doctors and staff contract/consulting doctors, or are they employed by Erlanger directly? I know at erlanger east they are contract and that makes them out of network.

I called Erlanger downtown and the lady was rude, said she thinks they're contact docs in the er, to call my provider, then swiftly hung up on me

I work in the ER. Some are and some aren't.

They are direct employees of erlanger and have been properly trained in erlanger's policies.
